Postdoc Week Kickoff! NPAW T-shirts & Breakfast-to-go

Time:              9 – 11AM
Location:      Alumni Memorial Walkway by Asa Packer statue

We're kicking off the week with NPAW t-shirts and free breakfast to go!  Come by our table in front of Alumni Memorial to pick up your commemorative  NPAW t-shirt and grab a coffee and bagel or muffin.  T-shirts can be picked up at the reception as well. Drop by, no registration required.

 


Job Application Feedback Clinic #1

Time:           1 – 2 PM

Looking for feedback on your faculty job materials? Postdocs from all disciplines are welcome to sign up for a 20-30 minute, one-on-one consult with experienced faculty. Get targeted feedback on your cover letter, CV, research, teaching, or diversity statements.

Choose either Monday or Tuesday for your consult. We’ll match you with a faculty member based on fit. While our faculty can review materials from any field, you can request a specific person, and we’ll try to accommodate.

Get Together at the Farmer's Market

Time:         11 AM– 1 PM
Location: Farrington Square, alcove area

Come and hang out with fellow postdocs at the Bethlehem Farmer's Market. We'll have a spot reserved in the lower alcoves; bring or buy your lunch from any one of the delicious places at the market!  We'll supply drinks and snacks.   Drop by, no registration required.

The Bethlehem Farmer's Market will be giving out $5 coupons for postdocs to spend at any market vendor on Sept 19 and can be used in $1 increments. They'll also be giving away Farmer's market shopping bags and jar openers to postdocs!


Postdoc Just-Write

Time:         2 PM– 4 PM
Location: Williams Hall, Room 070

The Post-Doc Office and the Graduate Writers' Studio are partnering to offer a Post-Doc Just-Write. This Just-Write is a protected 2-hour block of time for Post-Docs to gather together in one room while spending time making progress on their own writing goals. Refreshments will be served.

Let’s get together and have a great time! This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet other postdocs, make new friends, and connect in a relaxed and informal setting. Complimentary appetizers will be provided!
