This interactive, working series is designed to help early-career scholars prepare a strong set of tenure-track application materials before job postings go live. Participants will receive practical guidance, real examples, and detailed feedback on:

•  June 23 – Academic job market overview, tailoring materials, CVs & cover letters
•  June 25 – Research statements: scholarly vision & broader impacts
•  June 30 – Teaching statements aligned with institutional priorities 

Participants should come prepared to draft, revise, and contribute throughout the program. Full-day participation is strongly encouraged, especially for those interested in receiving individualized feedback.

Session Format & Expectations

Each session: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM (HST 211)

Morning (9:00–12:00) – Faculty-led presentations and interactive discussion

Afternoon (12:30–2:00) – Structured writing time and feedback with faculty.

Note: Participation in all three sessions is required. The only exception is for individuals who completed the workshop series in 2025 and are attending specific sessions for a refresher.
