Two Ways to Participate:
1. Poster Session
Present your research with an eye-catching visual design during the networking reception. Engage in one-on-one conversations as attendees explore your work. Posters should serve as visually compelling guides that help viewers understand what you did, why you did it, what you learned, and why it matters. You’re welcome to take a traditional poster format or use a modern infographic approach to walk the audience through your research.
Dimensions: Posters should not exceed 36" x 48". Final display format will be confirmed in August; posters may be mounted on a wall or displayed on an easel.
Please note: We are unable to cover poster printing costs.
2. Flash Talks
Challenge yourself to communicate the key features and significance of your work—in just 5 minutes.
This fast-paced format is designed to engage a general audience using just 5 slides. A Q&A and deeper discussion will follow the session. Slides should follow inclusive design principles to ensure accessibility for all participants. There will be two blocks of flash talks, featuring up to 12 dynamic presentations. If you are not selected for a flash talk, you will be invited to present your work as a poster.
Requirements for selected flash talk presenters:
- Attend a Flash Talk Expectations Session
- Submit your slides no later than September 21, 2026
- Participate in one practice session (week of Sep 8) and the run-of-show rehearsal sessions (either Sep 18 or 21, TBD).
Selection Criteria
Abstracts will be reviewed for clarity, originality, and for diversity of disciplinary inclusion into the program. They will be reviewed by a team of staff, faculty and postdoctoral scholars interested in expanding the visibility of postdoctoral scholarship at Lehigh.
